Layouts are all pre-made and ready for download, and various and diverse set of icons, templates and wallpapers are available to suit many tastes. I could go on and explain, but I'm pretty sure our contest page sums it up much better than I can. I will say, however, that this is a multi-medium contest, so it is open to anyone with an artistic flare, not just webdesigners. So what are you waiting for? Go check it out. :3

Hi guys! I'm basically dropping by to tell you... I'm leaving you. In about five hours. For two months. I will be in China, and I won't get a chance to design while I'm doing this. Sorry. ^^;
However, I'm also here to announce some additions I made before I left. There are 23 new icons in the Anime category, featuring Loveless, Tsubasa, and Pokemon. Yes, Pokemon. I like Pokemon, okay. >| Also, if you're interested, there are about 37 additional icons and variations I hadn't added for certain reasons at our icon community on LJ, so please check those out.
Also, there is a slightly older wallpaper I had made for myself a while back that's now up for download featuring Himeko and Chikane's reincarnation Himiko and Kaon. Not too big a fan of shoujo-ai, but they're adorable so how can I not like them?
A few things to plug before I go~ Both Cat and Li have beautiful new layouts up, so do check them out! Also, Megori's contest has been extended until the end of August and please enter Yunri's icon contest! Additionally, Vis' new contest is in the works, so hopefully Rykea will finish that in the next few days. Please keep an eye out for that as well!

I'd like to say something epic like I just crossed the Sahara on foot or have been busy finding the cure for AIDS, but I've merely been working, sleeping and partying. :/ Nonetheless, I'm back with a few quick updates.
If you applied for affiliation we didn't get any of your requests. The form wasn't actually functional when Kyuu reopened affiliation, which is 100% my fault. I apologize for this, and if you're willing to resubmit an affiliation request, the forms are now functional.
Also, 18 new icons by your truly have been uploaded. They feature Sarah Slean and a few caps from Kingdom Hearts 2. As for the banners, there should be several new additions within the next few days. :3

It's 4:30am, and I'm not particularly awake, so if I sound a bit incoherent, please forgive me. In the last three days, I've created two new pre-made layouts for this site. One of them is a frames layout featuring Soubi and Ritsuka from Loveless which as seen above, and the other is an elaborate bottom-aligned tables layout featuring Euphemia from Code Geass. If you decide to preview it, please don't forget to scroll to the bottom~ For the record, I can indeed still make layouts that are neither pink nor purple (see: livejournal, also made within the last three days). I just merely choose not to and excersize my right to girliness. *shot*
Rykea still owes you a batch of icons, and she has 12 made. However, she's been sick on the last few and she's running around hectic due to work. Hopefully, you'll get to see them all soon. ;_; I miss Rykea. Additionally, our overhaul of the content on Vis is almost finished with. I rewrote my profile today (not that you'd care, unless if you wanted to read snarky ramblings) and added descriptions to about half of our affiliates. Unfortunately, I'll need to finish those up, add textures, and do a clean up of the buttons/banners and LJ graphics section. DONE!
Rykea and I were thinking of running a contest this summer, from the end of June to the end of August, and we would like to hear how many of you would be interested. The theme would be music, and it'd be a media-oriented free-for-all.
Also, please welcome Kibou of Project Star and Yunri of Synesthesia to Vis' affiliate family! We're extremely honored to have both of them with us. If anyone else is interested affiliation is now open. We don't have a set number of affilates in mind at the moment, so please feel free to apply! We'd love to see your application. One last thing: huge plugs to Mel's shiny new layout (which is weeks old now, due to my fail to plug her before D8) and Megori's adorable Nowaki and Hiro layout. Go oogle at them, right now! I demand of thee!

ETA I've now finished writing all the info, and I've added two sets of 100x100 and two 800x600 textures. I'm not going to prune the buttons or LJ graphics for now since we don't have enough, and I need to get working on my other sites' revamps as well. I hope you enjoy the new additions, and I'll see y'all around. But for now, I have a grad party I need to run to.
